BIOGRAPHY

Kathleen Tyner is founding partner of Hi-Beam Consulting, an information-based company that provides development, technical assistance and evaluation services to educational institutions, governmental agencies, museums, non-profit organizations and universities. Ms. Tyner writes, directs, and produces print, video and interactive media for international audiences.

Ms. Tyner speaks and publishes in international forums, journals and popular press about media, digital literacy and information technologies. She serves on a number of community-based boards, including Communication Across the Planet (Brazil), the European Union’s SchoolNet Media Department (Brussels), ListenUp! (New York), the San Francisco Cinematheque (California), and the World Council for Media Education (Madrid, Spain).
